“Coming into the fellowship, I thought I knew what to expect since I’d already done my residency here. However, it did surpass my expectations. It was truly humbling working with some of the world’s experts everyday and learn from them, in person, one-on-one. I enjoyed spending additional time in the biopsy centre, perfecting my craft and participating in elevating patient care. A big highlight of the fellowship, for me and for everyone, was dealing with a high case volume, interpreting complex patients and operating at a high standard. This certainly helped me develop speed and accuracy as well as improving my management plan. Another great, equally important, opportunity was connecting with fellows from all over the world, learning from their experiences and making lasting friendship. It was definitely a year well spent.”
