“I completed my Abdominal Imaging fellowship at University Medical Imaging Toronto (UMIT) from 2020 to 2022, and it was a transformative experience in my career. The program’s strengths include comprehensive teaching activities such as Fellow Rounds, Interesting Cases Rounds, and City-Wide Rounds, along with multiple Multidisciplinary Rounds, extensive research opportunities, insightful readouts with engaged staff, and exposure to a wide variety of cases across all hospitals.
Most importantly, the people in this Division are truly inspiring. The environment is extremely collegial among co-fellows, residents, technologists, staff, and other team members. These qualities were essential for my professional and personal growth during the fellowship and played a key role in my decision to pursue a career as a staff Abdominal Radiologist in this Division immediately after completing my fellowship.”
