
Vanessa Murad
Dr. Murad obtained her medical degree from Universidad El Bosque in Bogotá, Colombia, and completed her radiology residency in 2018. She subsequently pursued specialized training in oncologic imaging, completing a Nuclear Medicine fellowship at Seoul National University Hospital in Korea (2020–2021), followed by a Molecular Imaging fellowship at the University of Toronto’s UHN-JDMI (2022–2023) and an Abdominal Imaging fellowship at the same institution.
Her research focuses on oncologic and hybrid imaging (PET/CT and PET/MRI) for comprehensive disease assessment, including tumor detection and characterization, evaluation of treatment response, and the development of personalized therapeutic strategies in the field of Theranostics.
