
Korosh Khalili, MD, FRCP
Korosh Khalili is a Professor of Radiology at the University of Toronto and the Director of Ultrasound at the Joint Department of Medical Imaging at the University Health Network, Sinai Health, and Women’s College Hospital. He is also the lead for Ontario Health’s Cancer Imaging Program at Toronto Center South and Northeastern Ontario.
Dr. Khalili completed medical school at the University of Ottawa and moved to Toronto for residency in medical imaging. He has been working at the University Health Network/Sinai Health since July 2000 after completing his fellowship in abdominal imaging at the University of Toronto. He completed a master’s degree in Translational Research at the same institution in 2019.
Dr. Khalili’s clinical and research interests have been in the fields of hepatobiliary-pancreas and abdominal sarcoma imaging. He was the director of Toronto Hepatocellular Carcinoma Surveillance Program at the UHN, and the imaging lead for Hepatobiliary-pancreatic imaging since 2006. He is the imaging lead for Ontario Health’s Toronto Central South Regional Cancer Program.
Dr. Khalili has an interest in international health and is the co-director of medical imaging for the University of Toronto collaborative in Ethiopia, called Toronto Addis Ababa Academic Collaboration. Through this program, Dr. Khalili has been involved in creating several fellowship programs in medical imaging at Addis Ababa University. He has spent 6 months in Peru and Ethiopia teaching advanced medical imaging and is a consultant with Doctors Without Borders.
