
Itsekzon Hayosh, Zeev
Dr. Itsekzon Hayosh is an Assistant Professor of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto.
After completion undergraduate studies in life sciences (cum laude) and graduate studies in Neuroscience, he completed medical training at the Faculty of Medicine and Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv University, followed by Neurology Residency at Sheba Medical Center in Israel. He subsequently served as Staff Vascular Neurologist between 2020 and 2021 leading outpatient clinics and Neurosonography service in the same center. Between 2021 and 2024 he completed a comprehensive clinical and research fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology within the department of Medical Imaging in the University of Toronto.
His research interests include cognitive effects and neurological outcomes following treatment of cerebral venous hypertension in shunting and non shunting vascular pathologies, simulation in Interventional Neuroradiology, human placenta vascular model and development of new synthetic models for Interventional Neuroradiology training, clinical outcomes following flow diversion treatment for complex aneurysms, neuroimaging correlates in contrast induced encephalopathy, post stroke thrombectomy imaging outcomes, quality improvement and optimization of Neurovascular patients care, antithrombotic treatment optimization in Interventional Neuroradiology, and clot analysis following acute stroke thrombectomy.
