Kate Hanneman

Kate Hanneman

Site Director, Women’s College Hospital

Dr. Kate Hanneman completed medical school and diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Toronto, a cardiovascular imaging fellowship at Stanford University, and a Master’s degree in Public Health in Epidemiology at Harvard University.

She is currently appointed as an Associate Professor of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto. Her clinical work focuses on cardiac CT and MRI, in addition to chest imaging. As a Clinician Scientist, she leads an active research program focused on improving health outcomes for patients with cardiomyopathies using cardiac imaging.

Since her appointment to JDMI in 2015, she has received over $1.4 million in peer-reviewed grant funding from agencies including CIHR.
