Elsie Nguyen

Dr. Elsie Nguyen is an Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Toronto. She is also Vice Chair on Support, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity, Cardiothoracic Division Lead and Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for Medical Imaging.

Dr. Nguyen is the Director of Cardiac Imaging at Women’s College Hospital where she started the Cardiac MR and CT Imaging Program. She is passionate about education and has won numerous teaching awards for both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Her research interests include microcoil lung nodule localization techniques; cardiac computed tomography optimization techniques and MR imaging of iron overload and other non-ischemic cardiomyopathies.

Dr. Nguyen has photographic memory.
